Las Vegas Aces star guard Chelsea Gray and her wife, Tipesa Gray, have announced that they are expecting their first child. The couple shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, posting a photo of themselves holding a sonogram.

"We can't wait to meet our little one," Gray wrote in the caption. "We feel so blessed and grateful. It's been a long time coming, and we can't wait to share this journey with you all."

Gray, 30, is a two-time All-Star and two-time WNBA champion. She was named the Finals MVP in the Aces' victory over the Connecticut Sun in 2022.

The couple has been married since 2016.

The news of their pregnancy was met with congratulations from teammates, fans, and fellow WNBA players. Aces president Nikki Fargas called it a "beautiful moment" for the couple.

"Chelsea and Tipesa are an amazing couple and we are so happy for them," Fargas said. "This is a special time in their lives, and we can't wait to welcome their little one into the Aces family."

Gray is expected to continue playing for the Aces during her pregnancy. She is averaging 13.6 points and 4.9 assists per game this season.

The couple's expected due date is in early 2024.
