England come from behind to beat Switzerland with Harry Kane leveling with Sir Bobby Charlton on 49 England goals

England began their World Cup preparations with a 2-1 comeback victory over Switzerland at Wembley Stadium which extended their unbeaten run to six matches.

The Three Lions fell behind to Breel Embolos opener but goals from Luke Shaw and Harry Kane secured the win.

Kane's goal was his 49th for England, moving him level with Sir Bobby Charlton as the Three Lions' joint-second highest goalscorer behind Wayne Rooney (53).

The result was a positive start for England as they prepare for the World Cup in Qatar later this year.

Gareth Southgate's side will face Italy in their next match on June 11 before taking on Hungary and Germany in the Nations League in June.
