American swimmer Lilly King has qualified for her second event at the Paris 2024 Olympics by winning the women's 100-meter breaststroke final on Thursday. King, who hails from Evansville, Indiana, secured her spot on Team USA with a dominant performance, adding to her previous qualification in the 200-meter breaststroke.

The 25-year-old has a long history of success in breaststroke events. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, she won the gold medal in both the 100-meter and 200-meter breaststroke. She also earned a gold medal in the 4x100-meter medley relay. King's numerous accomplishments include four world championships in 2017, further solidifying her status as one of the world's top breaststroke swimmers.
