FC Empoli has officially announced the appointment of Davide Nicola as their new manager. The 49-year-old Italian coach joins the Serie A club after a successful spell with US Salernitana 1919, whom he guided to safety from relegation last season.
Nicola brings a wealth of experience to the Empoli dugout, having previously managed a number of clubs in Italy, including Genoa, Crotone, and Udinese. He is known for his attacking style of play and his ability to get the best out of his players.
